I wrote this two years ago and my opinion has not changed. This is a great option if you want a great education for your children.
My daughter is about to graduate from 4th grade. She LOVES her teachers and loves school.
No school is perfect. That’s impossible. But this is as close as it gets.

This is what I wrote 2 years ago –
This is a great school. Yes there are rules, but they deal with all scholars fairly. Education is great. They manage each child as an individual especially with reading, so each scholar is able to progress. I have two scholars with different skill sets that are both doing very well here. All the teachers that I know here love their students and want to see them grow.

The education is great! But that’s all!!
#1 my daughter doctor said she couldn’t go out in the cold weather for a certain time period. Which meant no recess outdoors. I brang the school the letter from the doctor. Yet they still took her out and she got pneumonia!!
#2 a teacher in this school screamed at my daughter and other kids in a very threatening way. (I HAD A HIDDEN CAMERA I MY DAUGHTER UNIFORM)
#3 my daughter gets lost inside the school for over 10 minutes!!
#4 they took her Asthma pumps away from her and the school didn’t even bother INFORMING ME about it!!
#5 STAFF IS HORRIBLE !!!!!!!
This school has been great for my daughter. I love the curriculum and the way they encourage multiple ways of solving a math problem. I love the differentiated paths of instruction they offer for reading so that students can learn what they are ready for, rather than at the “average” level. I love that science instruction happens daily, with a dedicated science teacher and lab. It’s all hands on and not simply reading from a textbook. Recess and specials also happen daily, which is not the case at all schools in D14. Communication with my daughter’s teachers has always been top notch!
