This is the best school I have ever been to. I am currently attending Saint Mary’s Sacred Heart school and let me start off by saying that I have never felt more welcome. When first attending “SMSH” you get greeted by EVERYONE not just your class but all grades and all staff. Some might think “of course she is writing a good review about the school she goes too, she doesn’t want to look bad.” I don’t mind whether or not I look bad, this is the truth from experience not gossip from teachers or students. There are many after school activities and in-school volunteer work students can do-they never get bored. I never pictured myself being a student council member, but here I am helping to enhance this school with the rest of my amazing committee. I came from a public school and only went to public schools before SMSH. I haven’t ever received as much religious education as I am here and I attended CCD ( a religious education program to boost childrens’ knowledge about God.) There is about 3 more weeks of school and I get shivers thinking about graduation. I know it will be a star point in my life, but I will be heart broken to leave my family behind. Once you come to SMSH you will want to stay until you are ready to fly out of your nest and graduate. Leaving here is like leaving home.
Horrible school. Bad communication between teachers and parents. Principle is wicked rude and unprofessional, Doesn’t know how to de escalate a situation with a small child in the proper manner or speak to people with transparency and consideration. They also discriminate against children with learning disabilities. They claim they don’t “have the funds” to support children who need a little extra help, yet people pay thousands for their children to go to this school each year. Against the ADA, especially when they claim that they accept all and do not discriminate. Young children do not deserve to be singled out and treated differently. Typical quick to judge “Christian’s” who think they are above all. If you are looking for a school for your child to attend and feel welcomed, supported and empowered this is the furthest place from that safe space.
Absolutely love it!! It’s a great school and I have learned so much over my past two years. Also there is a boatload of hands on learning.
