The staff are unfriendly and don’t genuinely care about students. Some good teachers but that’s subjective. New principal this year brings a small glimmer of hope for positive change, however I’m not too sure how much can be, since most of it happens at district level. Bussing is horrendous, and neither the district or first student will take responsibility for any part of it. The food program serves very minimal nutrition to those who are willing to pay or the ones who don’t have to. Special ed department seems a little better than other schools, but not offering the same services so wouldn’t rank as high.
In this area, there are better schools, but they are full and waiting lists are closed.
Once the principal/staff decide that they want your child out, they will start pushing your child out of this school. And they make it very clear that they want the child gone. Either through EXCESSIVE suspensions/exclusions, or calling you nonstop while you’re at work. If you have a child that may need extra support I would recommend finding another school that truly cares and wants to help. My child’s kindergarten year has been a nightmare. Never thought a 5 year old would be viewed as public enemy #1. I will be speaking with superintendent of the district about this school.
I love CBPA it’s my favorite school but unfortunately we had to move ?????? I miss that place so much

You get lockers in 3rd grade ????? and the food there ???????and Mr.Halfway was the nicest PE teacher ever but unfortunately he retired ?? all the teachers are so nice and it’s the best school ever ??????????????? I would totally recommend it if your child is looking for an awesome school ?????
