For the last five years this school has been home for my son. He has had a great learning experience with all his teachers being amazing and kind. Being part of the art program has really inspired him to express and further his artistic abilities and Im so glad that the school have this program. He has grown so much in this setting and really enjoyed being a part of this. I am surely grateful for the teachers who have taught him over the years, starting with Ms Perez, Cramer, Diaz, Hidalgo, Eutsay, Cabrera, Garcia, Baly, Melendez, Farooq, Gomez. The music program is FIRE and Ms G always delivers. Now all my son does is play piano because he is so inspired by the music and art. They have all been such a blessing to my son and has encouraged his growth and always communicated with me if there needed to be any improvement. The principal and vice, admin, Ms Linda, Cynthia all have been so great to work with and had given me the ability to feel part of the panther family. Truly love this school and I am grateful for the experience we have had the pleasure having here.
Unbelievably disappointing. I really It started with MS.Moran and other teachers. I really thought this school was going to make a difference but it disappointed me. Like someone else said in the comments teachers are only there for their paychecks. A teacher can make a very big difference in a child’s life but this is not the case here! Whenever a 10 year old starts getting in trouble all of sudden and not wanting to pay attention there is obviously a problem! Sadly they rather get rid of the child than work together with a parent to alleviate and resolve the issue!
Where is the compassion for these kids???
Do your due diligence and make sure you select the right school for your child!!
Very limited programs. My kids have been there for two years and should have never taken them out of Hialeah Gardens Elementary. They offered much better educational experiences. Both my kids are gifted and they offer hardly anything that challenges them. There are a few exceptions but most teachers are just there for the check. I feel that it starts at the top with the principal. When the test scores have gone down, they treat the children and the parents poorly. No sports. They offer no courses that count for high school (not even algebra). If you have high achieving children this may not be the best place for them.
