Im pretty disappointed. I chose this place because of a referral. I filled out their extensive paperwork becaue I was told wed start the intake process after that. Twice I was Told by Tamara Id be called back just to be blown off. I know Theyre a small company, but it really felt like I was Given the run around. Was told they were waiting on my insurance when I called Back to follow up but and then the next sentence was told I wish we could help everyone. my Insurance said they havent heard from them. She then offered to refer me to another company, which didnt take my insurance. I asked if she had another place she said shed send me an email and surprise surprise, never did. Not sure about the rest of the locations but the Dallas one really needs to try harder. Very strange and upset I wasted my time.
Run, don’t walk, to sign up with The Helm in Lewisville! The AMAZING therapists at The Helm have given us the most amazing gift possible, the ability to really enjoy our precious autistic son. Their wisdom has enabled us to help our son become the boy he was meant to be. They have trained us all in strategies to help make dinner a time to connect rather than a nightmare filled with constant corrections. The angels at the Helm have trained our son to be ready to learn in a group of his peers and with one-on-one teaching. They have taught him to be a better friend and given him confidence to solve some of his own problems. I was skeptical about ABA therapy originally and have been 100% that it is truly a gift to unlock a child’s potential. Thank you Helm Angels!
I worked at The Helm ABA Lewisville location as an RBT and thoroughly enjoyed my time with the team! I started without my RBT certificate and was trained and motivated to study to take and pass the exam to gain certification. The team centered environment was my absolute favorite. I was able to work with many supervisors and was able to learn about programming through each one. This job really helps you grow as a person in addition to growing as a therapist. I highly recommend joining the team! #LewisvilleLighthouses
