I was a student at this school for ONLY ONE YEAR and I have to say this. If you want students bully you and others SO MUCH non-stop all day that some students say they want to commit suicide, surprised to hear that you are miserable, and abuse the reporting system just to get you in trouble and be miserable, and retarded teachers and disciplinary principles that are oblivious of all of these problems this is the school to be in, but wait it doesn’t stop there. The students also cyberbully you thinking it was the perfect thing to do. Also they would call you a hypocrite for NO REASON WHATSOEVER while they were the ones doing all of the actions, and if you want to get friends other than being crazy, good luck with that.
The education system should go without saying with experience, it’s bad.
Disciplinary systems is also stupid. AFTER school has ended and the students are ready to go they still wouldn’t allow you to use phones even if it is to call or text parents. In addition, the “best” students get detention or suspension.
The bathrooms aren’t sanitary as they have smears of waste on the walls.
Harmony also fraud lunch money from you if you go to a different school, e.x. I deposited about $30 into my account in the database before school end because I was running low on funds. After we moved into our new school I went to check on my database there it showed only showed $1…I guarantee you I had about $15 left.
Conclusion: This school doesn’t care about trying to educate students, or use disciplinary action. They’re just trying to maintain the school. Welcome to hell.
I’ve been attending this school since it opened, and I kind of like it here. Of course there’s problems, but there’s not a school that is absolutely perfect in every aspect. Although there’s vandalism, some trash, and we don’t excel in our music and sports, we do exceedingly well in academics. Some students may disagree, but that’s because our standards in regular academics have changed, because we are above the regular curriculum. Since our school is so small, the teachers are able to understand how to teach us better. The teachers here are dedicated and are preparing us for what life could hit us with. Through the classes, I’ve learned the curriculum, and through other clubs, I’ve learned how to handle certain life lessons. We don’t compete in sports as seriously as other schools, but what we lack in athletics, we make up in academics. Please consider coming to this school.
I have been with this school since it started 5 years ago and every year I found myself as a new parent. It’s Harmony culture that every year their admin team will change, either changing principle, assit. principle, dean, and for sure teachers. It really depends on what teachers they can get from the market that year. This year they didn’t have a regular 6th grade Math teacher for more than 6 months! They have very good Math & Science curriculums but no quality control on how to carry them out. There are some very good and responsible teachers (2-4 that stayed more than 2 years), but not enough for a school of K-12 grade. I am amazed how the school rating had a big jump within 1-2 weeks……..good luck to all recent and potential students and parents.
