I always try to give a new opening school much understanding when opening a new school because i know theres lots to be done. The construction in the community has been amazing, however if they crossing guards could do a better job at making sure kids are properly and safely crossing the road. However, Today I witnessed an American lady cross guard cut a car off that was in a Congo line and right behind a car that was crossing the street, almost hurting herself and more important what about the kids and the person in the car who was trying to follow along traffic because it backs up everyone else. Everyone safety is important and its important to respect the drivers as much as we do kids
unfortunately the parking is terrible. To pick up your child from school, you will have to stand in line for 25-45 minutes… To avoid such problems, we need buses. Many cars approach the school on the bike path, sometimes they drive in such a way that they can hit you in the mirror. Be careful. Regulators do not reprimand them. This is terrible.. They dont react to this, although drivers riding on the bike path violate traffic rules.. Children are forced to ride not on the bike path, but on the sidewalk.. They disrupt the movement of pedestrians.. Please pay attention to this. I advise you to order several buses from the state and stop this disgrace..
My children have had an excellent experience at Collins. A very engaged principal that is not afraid to interact with parents in a potentially negative situation and teachers that are always out for the best interest of their students. We have been with Collins for 4 years and every one of those has been excellent!
