HS students do NOT know any elements in the Periodic Table chemistry not taught in 8th gr as per ADE Standards. Molecule of water & table salt – studs didn’t know!
Students expected to receive a watered-down curriculum and get an honors grade: astonishing!
On 8/16/2023 requested students purchased new version of Districts 2006 edition after printing class sets for three weeks. CONSEQUENCE: I was placed on administrative leave, because some parents and students allegedly complained (no written docs, of course!). Supposedly, students saw me putting a pill in my mouth in class and allegedly I acted up afterwards Wow!
Half of HS teachers: new hires; each class averaging 30 students
Ive not experienced this even at poorest schools in the Phoenix area: total dismay!
