This school is great, the teachers are funny and kind and most students are very nice as well. There are many fun events like the Bubbles for Autism, the Dinner Dance, etc. The classroom has a lot of hands-on projects and the teachers try to make the topics interesting. You get to hang out with friends at the end of the day and have free time. And the best part is that you get snacks from the teachers! But one thing to keep in mind, if you are getting bullied, don’t expect the teachers or counselors to help you because they just tell you to ignore the situation. It (mostly) doesn’t work and the bullies will continue to bully you. It’s not until you have to take legal action in order for the bullying to stop or for the bullies to get kicked out. I remember me and my friends having to leave because of this. So, as long that no one bullies you, it’s a pretty great school.
I went to this school from 2011 – 2017 and to be honest, I really liked it. The teachers were awesome, we did a lot of activities, and I did cheerleading for 4 years. Plus choir was awesome because the music teacher made it very fun. Since I came to MA, I came from a troublemaker who likes to throw chairs and use violence to a very intelligent student who is willing to get her work done. But the only 2 things you have to know before coming there are

1. The fire alarms are very loud (so cover your ears if your very sensitive like me)

2. There are a lot violence, and kids throwing tantrums (so if you’re not used to this type of environment, don’t go there)

But other than the fire alarms and the chaos, I would recommend the school

I didn’t like the school. I went there myself, but I’m on the much higher functioning end of autism. I didn’t like the school because all we did in class was sit there and do nothing. I’m not joking when I say is, just trust me, I’ve been there and it’s not that good of a school than you would think. Unless your child has severe autism, do not choose this school. That’s s school is mostly for the children that have very severe autism and I learned nothing from there.
