No wonder why there are more negative reviews about this Celebree School of Bowie, I experienced it. My wife set an appointment to this facility and did a tour. But I immediately noticed that the coordinator, Kayla or whatever how she pronounce her name, did not like questions. Her response when I asked about the initial question about preschool made me feel belittled, unnoticed to her, this is my professional occupation and I have all knowledge about the public school system. As the tour continued, the more questions I asked, her body language and her responses were not welcoming. I have a right to ask questions to assure what is taking place, even if she said it at the beginning, it’s okay for me to ask again because I missed it. At the end, she mentioned about discounts if you bring in a sibling such as a brother or sister. I probed her and said, what if I bring in my son’s cousin. Her response and attitude, “brother and sister”. I did not understand that and said, what about cousin again. And then I said, you could’ve just said no discounts for cousins and then I told her, it is your job to answer my questions and have a conversation. She then said, I don’t feel comfortable and said we have to leave. Take your money some else where! That coordinator is unprofessional and that lady has an attitude problem! I can tell how she was talking to her staff as though she was much higher and better than everyone else below her, disgusting!

Celebree at Bowie was a huge blessing in our life when we needed it the most. When we moved here, our house wasn’t going to be ready to move into for over a month. As dual-working parents, we needed a reliable (and temporary – until we could move into our new home which was not in Bowie) daycare/school for our toddler. The very first thing I noticed when we visited was that the front office staff seemed to know every kid and parent by name walking in or out the front door! This meant a lot to me, and I knew my kid would be treated like more than just a number.The staff at Celebree was incredibly accommodating, and made us feel right at home from Day 1 – despite the extra precautions related to covid. Our kiddo warmed up to his teachers, classroom, and schedule very quickly, which I 100% credit to the professionalism and genuine care of the all the staff. The Bowie location puts on special events every week, like water play, pizza day, etc. Additionally, the app they use gives me a ton of peace of mind. I feel connected and informed, and I love seeing pictures from my kid’s day. I would never hesitate to recommend Celebree School at Bowie to anyone. Our experience has been really great!

We enrolled our two sons in the Celebree School of Bowie in early June. Unfortunately, we removed our sons in less than 2 months later after one of our sons who has a severe wheat allergy was given a donut by one of his teachers and landed him in the hospital with severe anaphylaxis (note that we send him breakfast, lunch and snacks from home every day so there was no reason to give him any other food). After this incident, we don’t feel comfortable entrusting our sons safety at this school even if it was an isolated event caused by a careless staff member. We can’t comment on the schools academic program as our sons participation was very short. However, we wanted to share our experience for other parents considering enrollment at Celebree.
