Last week. I did not want for my daughter to be a bus rider.
I called the school to inform them on Friday, that my daughter would be picked up instead of riding the bus and the Principle refused to allow my daughter to be picked up. She said she will be on the bus even though she (the Principle) New I was at work and that the after school care giver would not Be able to pick her up from the bus stop.
She (the principle) pretty much wanted my daughter to be left on the side of the road at a bus stop that she was unfamiliar with, not to mention that my daughter is only 5 years old!
This principle should be replaced with a person that can speak to parents and not AT parents, someone that actually has a heart for children and their education.
This principle clearly has an issue with minority’s and she is very nasty. For the record, not every person of Hispanic and African American descent are uneducated. As an educator she should be encouraging to children, and working together with
Parents to help in developing a childs future, as well as their safety.
