I attended Regina from 2008-2012 and have been grateful for it ever since. I had an incredibly positive experience. The support I received from teachers, coaches, club moderators, and my classmates made me the woman I am today. I received opportunities that I don’t think I would have if I had attended a larger or co-ed high school. I was a swim team captain, a class council representative, I directed one of our plays with the guidance of our theater director, and I was able to study in Antigua, Guatemala one summer to study Spanish. I was always encouraged to pursue my ideas and improve our school’s community. While no one school is going to end up being a perfect experience, I know that attending Regina was the right choice for me.
As a proud Regina Dominican Alumnae I can say that Regina was an exceptional place to attend High School. I not only participated in two sports, but I also served on student and class government, yearbook, and was involved in the theater. On top of that, I was engaged in very rigorous academic courses led by teachers that not only pushed you to be your best self, but also were there encouraging you every step of the way. At Regina, I learned about leadership, self confidence, self development and growth. I also had the chance to create life long friendships (one of my best friends from high school was just in my wedding this past summer). I’m so grateful for the time I had at Regina and have many fond memories of my time there!
Many teachers are unprofessional, students are awful. They have no respect for authority or individuals. Worst 2 years of my life.
