My daughter started at Northshore Academy for Children in August 2023. This was the first time she had been in a school/day care setting (pandemic baby). We chose the academy because we saw positive recommendations from local parent groups and went on a positive tour. From our tour we saw children that were engaged in a variety of activities, a clean facility, and caring teachers. All of that and more is what we have experienced in our time being part of the NSA family. My daughter loves going to school daily, seeing her friends, and her teachers. She has also developmentally made leaps and bounds. I love the Montessori education and how they follow the children’s lead. My daughter is learning responbilities that are age and developmentally appropriate. We love that this is an academy run by 3 women of color who truly care about their students. I love the diversity of the student population and the opportunities that they have created for us as parents to be involved in the school and meet other families. Truly I feel so lucky to have my daughter attending this amazing school and if we have any other children they will come to the academy. I highly recommend the school and encourage you to set up a tour to see for yourself!
This is such an amazing school! Kids truly get a Head Start on their education giving them confidence and skill sets before they even go to 1st grade it’s the perfect balance of education and play!
Had a wonderful experience here – all the teachers are caring, reliable and understanding. Took my children here for years. Highly recommend
