I have two kids attending here! My daughter started at 3 and is now 5. My son started at 18 months and is now 3. We’ve loved all of our teachers. My 5-year old will enter Kindergarten this fall and people always comment on how mature, smart and well spoken she is. THIS SCHOOL HELPED SHAPE HER. There are definitely key staff here that make our kids feel so special and loved everyday. (Gloria in the 2’s room, Danielle, Kimberly in 3-5). They’ve worked with us on scheduling, letting big sister go see little brother if he was crying, helpful with potty training, introducing diversity to the classroom and have taken feedback from parents. There are now more field trips, more dedicated art lessons, better teaching for the older kids in regards to reading/writing. If you need a safe space that is more cost friendly without sacrificing education- try the Children’s House.
My son has been coming here for 2 years and it’s been an amazingly positive experience all around! He started when he was 4 and was beyond prepared when he started Kindergarten. He’s in 1st grade now and has been moved to an advanced reading class. He’s learned so much from educational to social skills. He’s always super excited to see Ms. Danielle. She’s very involved and always goes through how his day was during pick up so I feel like I’m in the loop and if there’s anything that needs to be addressed. Mrs. Barb T. in the baby room is very friendly and my son is happy to see her whenever she goes over to the older kids room. Over all this place is amazing. I’ve never had second thoughts. He’s definitely going to stay here for as long as possible.
I just called to get information about the center, they asked how old my child was, I said 19 months and they said “he would be in the toddler room till he was 2” and I asked more about the program and she said “its full time, how many days/week do you need?” and I asked “can you tell me anything else about your facility and program?” and she asked “what I wanted to know”; so I guess they don’t teach kids or interact with them, who knows? she was rude and abrupt and seemed to have little to no interest in me or my child/family. thanks but no thanks.
