This school is terrible!I went there as a grade six in 2023 , I had been attending that school since foundation, but since the new principal came the school turned terrible. All the good staff members left and new ones were put under bad influence of Mrs.Beale. This one teacher called Mr.martin continuously singled me out and picked on me for the whole year. He once made fun of my friends little sister who had speech problems and said “gumper” instead of jumper, this teacher continued to laugh and mock her in front of the whole class. That kid was only in GRADE 2. She probably cried at home that night. Not to mention that their playground was a hazard. When I tried to address that to the principal I was ignored. As well as their new playground is terrible this horrible school doesn’t even have SWINGS in their playground. There is nothing you can do during breaks. Please for every bodies mental safety stay far away from this school! Until the principal Mrs.Beale has left.
My daughter attended this school from prep but we have had to find a new school in grade 2. The school claims to have the welfare of students as its top priority but during the time my daughter attended, they didn’t follow a duty of care for a fractured injury, they didn’t support her wellbeing. When I tried to discuss this with the principal I was met with a cold and defensive attitude that lacked any responsibility. Do not send your children here if you want them to grow with the emotional education as well as academic.
This place use to be a good school that supported and actually cared for students, however the change with the new principle and the absent and retirement of old staff members has completely ruined the school. I can honestly say that this school is done for, and I can’t wait for it to eventually close down. As the closing of this once great school is now completely inevitable. Do not go to this school, unless you want your kid to suffer incredible mental health concerns and anxiety.
Great school. My daughter is attending and my son will attend next year as well. Lots of school activities and a great Community feeling. Teachers and principle welcoming kids in the morning outside of the gate. Very safe environment. It’s an excellent school.
Looks like a small and sorted school. But the lack of diversity worries me. One look at the staff profile confirms that. I believe, in today’s day and age, the composition of the school staff must reflect more inclusivity & diversity- keeping in pace with the country’s multi-cultural profile. This is not a comment on the school’s educational standards or even the views of its individual staff – seems like a management concern.
