The staff was 5 star but instructor Bryan was 0 star constantly putting everyone down with his poor leadership. Just watched a poor gentleman get his first perm and burns on his neck. The gentleman kept saying my neck burns and instructor told the student and gentleman, “I told you to put a towel on but what do I know. I only have 3 licenses”. Left the gentlemen without a towel and walked away. I finally told the students to get a towel for him and he walked over there and said “I told you so, no one listens to me”. No I’m sorry that this happened just I told you so.
Put the staff on blast for every mistake that was made instead of teaching them like a instructor does. I see all the students uncomfortable and holding their tounges. I hope the instructor gets better teaching methods for future students.
If you are seeking a recession proof career other than the oil industry; give Brian a call at the Hair Academy. The wonderful thing about the Hair Academy is that you will have marketable skills the day you complete your training and secure your license. I have a student who is planning to borrow $80,000 to get a liberal arts degree. He will have spent four years of his life and have an $80,000 loan and no real marketable skills when he completes school. Also, if you are a consumer seeking a haircut; give the Hair Academy a call. Their students are striving to provide your best service ever… and you’ll save 50%-60% over a barber shop in Midland or Odessa. The Hair Academy has a great management team and great service. I was recently attending this school and quickly realized I needed to leave. The environment the instructor, Brian, has there is uninviting to the guests and students. He made me feel discouraged and talked to us like we were small and he is incredibly unprofessional. I would not recommend this school to either attend or go get a service done from.
