I went to this school for the whole seven years and I would like to clarify to any parents that are thinking of sending your kids here, this school is horrible. The teachers are constantly leaving since the new principal came and the education isn’t even that great for the money you pay. The teachers pay more attention on arguments that happen outside of school whilst completely avoiding the fact that theres is racism and all kinds of bullying going on in their school grounds. The children are not as holy and as well behaved as the school makes them out to be and I can assure you that the principals only priority is making the school look good on the outside. When kids came to teachers about having emotional issues, instead of helping, the school put up posters to make the parents think that they care. People I know were experiencing heaps of racism, but the students actions were excused because of anger. I also experienced disgusting threats, which I went to the teachers about and it was completely ignored. This is practically growing these kids up to be spoiled entitled rich kids who have never been told off in their entire life. The students aren’t properly disciplined and held accountable for their actions, not preparing them for the real world. In conclusion, do not send your kids here because I can promise you that everyone who came out of this school hated it. xoxo
Read this wonderful Testimonial from Chris

I’m writing to provide positive feedback on the experience we had with Ms Gibbons as our son’s grade 3 teacher this year.

Our son, commenced this year in Grade 3G with a range of learning deficits that required additional support through a learning plan. Since then he has flourished under Ms Gibbons, and so much so that he is off his learning plan and doesn’t require the support of an LSO. The positive impact Ms Gibbons has played in his learning journey this year has been significant, and we can see he has really enjoyed his year at St Marys.

We think Ms Gibbons is an asset to the school and hope this email is provided as a testimonial to recognise the value she is creating as a highly skilled teacher. At every step of the way, Ms Gibbons proactively communicated with us and was very accessible. She demonstrated adaptability in overcoming hurdles in our son’s learning process, and he heads into Grade 4 next year with confidence.

To that end, we just want to provide a massive thank you for the support provided.

Best school ever! I would really recommend this school. It has been a pleasure to attend this school for 7 years. The teachers are amazing and the subjects are well organised. The facilities and classrooms are well looked after making it a nice place to work in. The library is a quiet and peaceful place to read. the computers were well looked after and Wonderful! amazing school! thanks St Mary’s for all the things you have done for me. <3
It’s a terrible school, since the new principal came in all the teachers are leaving.

I’m not sure what the issue is but kids need stability.

Sign of a good school is long term teachers.

It’s not worth the money we spend

This school is horrible I still go there don’t send your kids to this school the principal is horrible she is disorganised doesn’t send notifications to parents and shows no care for the students she gives the year fives and sixes barely anytime on the oval there are these rooms above the art room science room and the music and drama room the old principal would let us go up there but not frequently but this new principal would not let the year sixes taking the school tours show them up there making different excuses also when you go up there it feels weird you hear weird noises not to mention there is a rumour which is probably true that a janitor had a heart attack decades ago this principal has no care for the students especially the year fives and sixes (more careless to the sixes) she gives barely any play areas for the fives and sixes to play on plus the school has had so many teachers that have been there for over 20 years gone also so many teachers left mid year like the sports teacher who was there for years left and didn’t even get a proper goodbye and they have had the vice principal leave this shows that there has probably been something going on with the teachers also the teachers in the past 2 years 2 teachers in the senior building left throughout the year leaving kids so far behind in the curriculum because of the teacher leaving and not to mention her emails come out so late she even threatened to call the police on the year sixes because of an incident outside of school that wasn’t actually even that bad over all this is a horrible school and not worth the amount of money you pay to send your children to
