Our daughter Lauriana started when she was 3 with Miss Linda and from the moment we visited First School we knew it was the place we wanted our daughter to be. It is no secret how much my child adidas Miss Linda. Miss Linda isn’t just a regular teacher she is such an amazing teacher. Our daughter is very bright and Miss Linda would challenge her (in a good positive way) to make sure she was always doing her best. She loves her students and cares about their education and if I ever had a question or problem she would help me right away. Lauriana learned so much with Miss Linda that I was pleasantly surprised when she would come home telling me something new every day. Our daughter knows so many things thanks to Miss Linda that she took with her when she moved up to Miss Mirian’s class. Miss Linda still checks up on all my kids now that Lauriana is not in her class and my 2 year old twins started school. She’s just an amazing woman with so many great qualities of the type of teacher I want my kids to have for the rest of their educational lives. She truly loves being a teacher and you can tell.
Lauriana has now been with Miss Mirian for 2 months and she is such a sweet teacher. Challenges Lauriana as well in her school work to get her to do the best she can. We are very excited to be with Miss Mirian.
My twins are with Miss Myrla and Miss Bella whom they absolutely adore! Miss Mryla and Miss Bella are amazing. I love that they let the kids do art work at such a young age. The songs they sing my kids remember. They are just a great team.
To be honest I think I could go on and on about the staff at First School because they have all had a part in my kids school lives. I am forever grateful.
Thank you Miss Candy, Miss Samantha, Miss Linda, Miss Mirian, Miss Bella, Miss Norma, Miss Jessica, Miss Michelle, Miss Rebecca, Miss Eva and Miss Eileen.
My son has Miss Linda as his teacher and we could not be happier with his experience and his progress. It is clear that she genuinely cares deeply for her students and consistently goes above and beyond to make them feel special, safe and loved. I bet that for every student she could tell you their pets’ names, favorite food, what they are afraid of, etc. Miss Linda is full of energy and excitement and it rubs off on her kids. Her passion for learning is obvious and I know that she attends conferences and does a lot to stay up to date on the latest early childhood learning techniques. Miss Linda sets high standards for her students which helps them reach their potential. My son is always amazing me with the things he knows and I find myself asking “where on earth did you learn that” even though I already know the answer… Miss Linda. I have full confidence that my son will be ahead of the game when he starts kindergarten thanks to his and Miss Linda’s efforts. We cannot thank her enough for everything that she has done for him.
The front desk staff at First School is also very cheery and helpful. They hold nice events throughout the year including an end of the year ceremony which is always a favorite. They don’t have any restrictions when it comes to treats students bring in which is normally fine, but every now then with holidays and birthdays it gets to be a little much.
My five star rating is a reflection of my son teacher Ms. Linda and the teachers (Ms. Norma, Ms. Eva, Ms. Patty) he had while attending First School. I know that when he attends Kindergarten next year because of Ms. Linda he will be prepared to meet the challenges of Elementary school. Ms. Linda is a special educator who puts students first. The moment you walk into her classroom you can see clearly written daily learning activities posted on her door. Her room organization with evidence of learning through fine motor coordination projects, learning centers are displayed on her walls, science projects experiments are conducted and learning through experiential education are tools Ms. Linda uses to promote learning. Ms. Linda not only teaches challenging curriculum but also teaching life skills for her students to become kind and caring individuals. Ms. Linda’s communication to parents about upcoming events, daily behavior is clear and concise but always makes herself available for individual conferences. As a middle school educator I see the commitment Ms. Linda and the educators at First School make towards implementing a desire for the love of learning.
