When i went to this school i was bullied so much that i suffered through depression and wanted to commit suicide. The teachers give a good education though. I had a casual teacher and she was treated so badly, People were throwing bottles , papers even their books and i was scared because they started bullying me now and i was made fun of most of the time. This school needs to fix their students
My daughter had terrible experiences at this school. She was unjustly treated and bullied by members of the staff, the main culprit was a teacher by the name of Mrs Benson. Mrs Benson engaged in childish arguments with my 8 year old (at the time) daughter and developed a grudge which made her treat her poorly for the remainder of her time at this school. I would not recommend anyone put their children here especially as it has come to my knowledge that Mrs Benson is now the principal.
This school is the best school. All the teacher are super nice and the principal wants the best for her students, staff and the well being of others. I recommended this school 100%. There is always bulling in school but BWPS handles the bulling very well and educates the students well and if they need help and extra guidance they will support you. They have a range of subjects they teach and a range of religious classes to go to. they have different levels of math and English for the people whom are more educated then others. The want you to succeed and advanced high in all you do. They have monthly assembly to show effort that all students have done. Again i would highly recommend this school 100%
The school accepted my grandson, who was literally forced to transfer from his previous school because of bullying IN YEAR ONE.(5and 6 year olds), the turnaround in this child, with his learning, confidence, happiness and emotional stability, since being at Bankstown West, is nothing short of amazing.
In the two terms he has been at this school, he has absolutely blossomed into a happy, well rounded, eager to both learn and go to school kid.
Every single teacher, support staff, administration and even the ladies who run the canteen are worth their wait in gold.
This school is all inclusive of EVERY child, no matter their race, religion or ethnicity and they consistently instill acceptance, compassion and empathy toward each other.
Teachers are heavily invested in their students and there is regular communication between parent and teachers.
The activities are well above those offered at many public schools and the children are actively involved in many of these “extra” activities.
I can not recommend this school highly enough.
I cant believe my daughter didn’t get in to this school I have a excellent reason why I need my daughter to go to this school. Now I don’t know what to do. So angry
