My wife and I have had the honor to care for our grandchildren for the past nearly 9 years. A highlight has been witnessing the joy and excitement our three precious kiddos have experienced with Karen and Kari, the owners/teachers of Knowledge Nest.
Because we were able to be home with the children since they were babies while their parents worked, all three were “stay-at-home” kids. We wondered how they would be starting pre-school and of course, hoped it would set them up for loving school and being around a group of other children. And, it did!
Karen and Kari are fun, kind, nurturing, experienced, child-focused, loving, organized…the list goes on and on. And, in the midst of giving to the children lots of love and fun times, the kids really learned a lot. Our three grandchildren were ready for Kindergarten.
With a Masters Degree in Elementary Education, I also appreciated the calm and roomy atmosphere of KN which is blessed to be housed in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Sunday School rooms in central Kalispell.
Drop off and pick up is safe and low key as the large church parking lot is utilized. The doors are kept locked at all times, and the teachers only let the children out the door when a parent or other caregiver they know well is right there.
Unlike many other preschools, Karen and Kari keep their class size small and only have one or two classes going on at one time…very peaceful! As well, the aides they employ are as wonderful.
We HIGHLY recommend Knowledge Nest for families who desire for their pre-school age child(ren) to thrive in a loving, well-run, disciplined, experienced, learning-based, fun environment.
The teachers are so kind and caring, and are always looking for ways to make learning fun, impactful, and memorable.
The environment is neat, clean, and inclusive.
And as a bonus, I heard from a friend that certain Princesses like to come visit every now and again too.
