I would highly recommend this Montessori to anyone! Although the prices are a little high, its worth every dollar!! My son’s previous daycare was really putting us in a tough spot, every time we walked in he was either plopped in front of a TV or running around the room with the teacher sitting on the floor playing on her phone not paying any attention. Multiple issues came up in our last few months there and finally one of my relatives referred me to Curious Child. I don’t think I could be any happier! My sons teacher is amazing, and the director is very friendly and really seems to know everything that goes on there. In just two months my sons vocabulary has increased drastically! He interacts with everyone a lot more and not once have i seen them with a television on!! I don’t even think they have one? They interact with the kids in so many ways, they teach them to clean up their messes, how to help cook, they work on so many projects and teach them in so many ways!! Gotta admit, there are days I wish I could go to class with him! 🙂
Being one of the unfortunate moms that worries too much and wishes I could spend every second with my baby… ensuring he learns well as he grows. That he learns to be independent, self sufficient and that he learns right from wrong even when he’s not with me. I am very fortunate to have found Curious Child and feel at ease knowing that I leave him in such a positively strong environment with such caring people!
I was a stay at home mom for 12 years. I decided to go back to work when my youngest was 19 months old. To say it was hard to put him in a day long school is an understatement. However, CCMP has made the transition so easy- for both of us! His teacher truly cares. He gets a hug when he arrives and leaves (like everyone else), and I’m sure through out the day as well. It means a lot to me that he is shown love when I can’t be there to give it. When I pick him up he is always happy, and what surprises me is that he is never dirty! (I don’t know how it is possible because they are adventurous there!) Another plus is that he rarely gets sick (I think it’s because everything is kept so clean). One more amazing perk is how independent and smart he has become. Because he is 8 and 10 years younger than his older sisters he was definitely babied by the entire family, and never had to do anything for himself. Ever since he started school he talks up a storm, and is SO independent. He takes it upon himself to be responsible for himself and his things. Sending him to CCMP was probably one of the best things we could have done for him! Oh- and he goes to Spanish class! How awesome is that!
The Curious Child Montessori Preschool is a high quality institution which I would recommend to anyone! My son has learned so much in a short amount of time, and can apply it in any situation. This shows that he is really learning the information, not simply memorizing it. The school itself is set up in a way that is conducive to learning and fostering independence, and is very clean. The teachers are highly educated, kind, and consistent, which I appreciate. Ms. Lori and Ms. Trinity provide a calm environment where children know what is expected. They are focused on teaching the whole child at his or her own pace, and reinforce good manners, respect, responsibility, and how to be a good friend. Their activities and program keep children active and allow them to explore the environment in a creative way. I also really like that the school encourages healthy eating, which is a quality I found to be lacking in many other schools. Overall, my son loves going to school here, is learning a tremendous amount, and I love the high quality care. This is the place to take your child if you want them set up for a lifetime love of learning!
