My son has been attending Montessori for about 3 months now. Before he got there he was having a difficult time concentrating in the classroom environment. He didn’t like going to school and each morning was a battle. Since attending Montessori, for even this short time, it’s been like night and day. Ms Kim and her staff have done a tremendous job of focusing him, providing a tremendous learning environment, and building a foundation for future development. He can’t wait to get to school in the morning now and is a happier little boy. I can’t say enough about them, and 5 stars doesn’t seem like enough.
For the past three years my daughter has been attending Montessori Academy of Peoria. We selected this school because of it’s AMI curriculum, beautiful classroom setup, and devoted staff. During our journey, it has far exceeded our expectations; our daughter (who is now 6) has learned not only academic skills, but also practical life skills, responsibility, and leadership skills. We are so pleased with the progress over the years, and grateful to have been able to give our daughter this amazing learning opportunity.
We have recently discovered Montessori Academy for our 4 year old daughter. As a teacher, I am a believer in hands on learning and the methods used in Montessori learning. My daughter has already gained large amounts of independence and self confidence, while enjoying her time at school. The teachers here are passionate, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. The classroom is set up like a community. The students all work together and are taught to respect each other.
