I feel that this school provides a unique and wonderful experience in the sense that it exposes you to a variety of cultures, preparing the student for real life, where they will have to be exposed to different types of people. The PACE program at Carpenter for me, led by Ms. Harris was a wonderful experience. Although she is leaving I heard that Ms. Eppler is a good teacher as well. Also, I feel that the Theater program at Carpenter is amazing as well, led by Ms. Pierce, who puts on the programs herself. The Band, Orchestra, and Choir programs, as well as the art program are an invigorating experience as well. Finally, the Spanish program led by Mr. Hurtado is top notch and will prepare you for Spanish 2 and beyond. A few points for the facility not being renovated as much as it should and aging computers, but I know that they are in the process of renovating it.
Too many fights happen/drama at this school I was at this school in 6th grade and I moved because of the fights that happen. Not a safe environment to me?? and most of the teachers do nothing but look tbh. Smh….. But some of the teachers at this school are nice ex: Mr Valentine;aka the choir teacher. And all the coaches ;Coach Ray, Coach Sterling, and Coach Fritz they are all nice?? and a few more teachers well this is just my opinion about this school?.
To be honest…It sucks the lunch food literaly I saw them taking pre-made donuts out of cardboard boxes! Like Eww, and thats not even the worst part the teachers oml I would say their are like 4 good teachers.. Coach Sterling, Mr.Nguyen, Mr.Valentine,and Ms.Williams are very good teachers/Coaches. And the worst of all BUGS, so gross and I see at leadt 10 bugs everyday!
