This is not a top notch school. My tuition went towards absolutely nothing. When my child started going there ; she knew how to write her name and numbers, shortly after,she forgot everything,while attending this school. I had to teach her all over again. She is now back to writing well, knowing her numbers, and reading. The teachers seemed to be more focused on the parents’ economic status, marital status, and place of living than teaching a child. This place has put me and my child through pure hell and I thank God, that she no longer attends this school. They also pass judgment on folks that are not from Texas.
I had a son attend here for 2 years around 2008-2010. Staff was amazing every step of the way from evaluation through the end of his time there. He was blessed to have the same teacher both years at Pearson. Class was extremely organized. Every public education experience has ups and downs, but I would say my son’s first 3 years in Plano ISD – Both years at Pearson and his Kindergarten year at Andrews were state of the art. They gave him an amazing start. The staff at Pearson is great from the Principal to every single member of the staff. The facility is state of the art also.
The teachers and therapists are informative, kind, and dedicated to providing the best possible educational development experience to the children, as well as making you and your child feel welcome. The principal and office staff are extremely courteous and friendly, and the facility is well maintained.
