My son was in the Infant Room 2 with Ms. Paolo and Ms. Yajayra. Every morning he would light up seeing the teachers at drop off. Receiving pictures of all the activities he was engaging in during the day was not only heartwarming, but pleasantly surprisingly – I never expected that you could do so much with a 9 month old! From music, to arts and crafts, learning about colors and shapes, the school’s curriculum was very impressive and unexpected (in a good way). The stress of the workday would melt away every time I got a Tadpoles app notification!
It’s also important to mention the facilities and the administrative staff. The security, newness, and cleanliness of the facility is a bar above many of the daycares we toured in the surrounding areas. My son’s toys were sanitized on a daily basis, and the class also had new toys coming in on rotation. Additionally, the administrative staff and owner were incredibly responsive & receptive to all my emails and calls – starting from the tour all the way to ending our time at the Goddard, much to our sadness.
We have nothing but great things to say about the Goddard School of Chicago West Loop, and would like to thank everyone for being so wonderful to our family.
Now, onto the curriculum – it’s nothing short of impressive. Our son not only stayed engaged but also became genuinely happy to be at school every day. To our amazement, even our picky eater started loving his veggies and fruits.
However, what truly sets Goddard West Loop apart are the exceptional owners and teachers. Their warm welcome each morning made our son feel right at home. Their support during his transition from at-home care to daycare was invaluable. They provided comfort when he needed it but also encouraged him to explore and grow, giving him the wings to fly.
We’ve witnessed a remarkable transformation in our son’s vocabulary and social skills, thanks to the dedication of the staff especially Ms. Alia and Ms. Brittany. Goddard West Loop has not only met our expectations but has exceeded them. It has set our family up for long-term success, and for that, we are profoundly grateful. This school has truly raised the bar, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice.
It felt safe with the biometric locks, and we really enjoyed the daily logs, videos, and pictures they send us. They also do a lot of art work and would send home some very heartwarming gifts sometimes. My wife and I also appreciated the weekend events they have every several months where they bring in a performer to entertain the kids.
Most importantly though, our daughters teachers Ms Victoria and Ms Alyeyah are wonderful and have been very helpful in helping our daughter socially develop and be happy at school. Our daughter became very attached to them and would not want to go home sometimes. There was quite a bit of teacher turnover in the classroom when our daughter first started, but they seemed to have fixed that problem.
We are moving to a Montessori this month though because an opening popped up and it is much closer and more convenient for us. Our family enjoyed the time at Goddard and will miss this place very much. All the staff here seem to work together like a family helping each other out.
