Enrolling our son at Forest Park-Beth Jacob Preschool was the best decision. The experience, facilities, and staff exceeded our expectations. As first-time parents, we made the optimal choice after hearing about the school from a colleague who sent her kids there five years ago. We thoroughly researched and compared almost 10 daycares/preschools in the Forest Hills-Rego Park area and chose this school over the ones that were closer to our building or had an easier commute.

Already on our first visit to FOREST PARK Preschool, it was clear that this school outshines all the others in the area. Here are the key reasons we chose this preschool almost two years ago (and those are just a part of the reasons we will recommend it to everyone we know):

1. EXPERIENCE AND RELIABILITY: A solid and secure choice with decades of experience, making it a trusted INSTITUTION. Unlike other preschools that faced closures and major changes during the COVID pandemic or had difficulties meeting strict NYC and DOE guidelines/standards, this preschool has stood the test of time.

2. LOGISTICS: Optional EXTENDED HOURS (7:30 am-6 pm)—crucial for working parents. Easy and fast drop-off (with/without a car).

3. MONEY $$: Free 3K, 2’s & summer Affordable program.

4. FACILITY: Spacious classrooms filled with NATURAL SUNLIGHT. In the city it’s hard to find classrooms that don’t have a “basement-feeling.”

5. LARGE BACKYARD: Children soak up fresh air and sunlight almost every day. Rare find in the city. Kids enjoy the outdoors during the school year, and the Summer Camp with water activities is incomparable.

We did not expect to write such a long review, but after almost two years, we confidently send our child to Beth Jacob, knowing they are in safe hands. Our child leaves school daily with a smile, and during the “terrible twos,” cried to stay longer??
It is a truly joyful place where everything is done with LOVE.
THE STAFF, including Everyone- teachers, assistants, administrative, directors, and maintenance, is consistently present, creating a positive and welcoming family atmosphere.
Special thanks to Mrs. Regina & Mrs. Maria for their warmth and attention. Mrs. Regina’s dedication and creativity are exceptional. The little ones are learning so much every single day.

I recently had the pleasure of enrolling my 3-year-old son in Beth Jacob’s School’s 3-K program, and I must say that our experience has been nothing short of superb. Prior to attending, I reached out to people in the neighborhood who had also sent their children to this school, and I couldn’t find a single negative comment. It’s truly rare to come across a place with such consistently positive feedback.

From the moment my son started attending, it was clear that he loved being there. He’s even expressed a desire to go to school on weekends! In just a few months, I’ve noticed tremendous improvement in his speech development, and he has become much better behaved overall. I attribute this growth to the dedicated and nurturing environment provided by the school.

One of the aspects that sets Beth Jacob’s School apart is the wide range of engaging activities they offer, including yoga. Every day, the children are kept busy and excited with new experiences. The teachers, principal, owner, and staff are not only caring, but also extremely professional. It’s evident that they genuinely care about the well-being and development of each child.

I highly recommend Beth Jacob’s School’s 3-K program to any parent seeking a nurturing and stimulating environment for their child. It’s been a pleasure to see my son flourish in such a positive setting. Thank you to the entire team for providing an exceptional experience for our family!

Absolutely love this school! Our 4 year old has been going there for almost two years (3K, preK, plus 2 years of summer camp). It has been such a great experience for our son who is born at the end of the year, so he’s the youngest in his class. We were a bit worried about signing him up for 3k even though he was still 2 at the time but we wanted him to have more interaction with kids his age. He was born right before covid started so he had had no play dates. The teachers at this school were and are so great with him. He went from not really speaking much and having issues with sharing to ,after 6 months at the school, being a chatterbox and having multiple friends and sharing.
His teachers were amazing from camp through the school year. Ms, Shoshana and Ms. Angelica were amazing and patient with him in 3k. Ms Marina and Ms Nina are absolutely incredible with him in preK. The Rabbi and school staff are wonderful too and actually take the time to speak with you. They all really care about the children want what’s best for all.
We highly recommend this school for the school year and the camp. (The regular school year is part of the DOE public school program so it’s free if accepted. The summer camp is paid but it’s worth it!)
We only wish it was a full 3k-6 elementary school so our son could continue to go for several more years.
