They do a fantastic job for preparing players to get to the next level. They have a very high teacher to student ratio with a GrandMaster and FideMaster for a small group of children. What I like is that the act as real coaches for my daughter. Besides just teaching strategy they help students manage their entire game: one black and white opening that suits the students playing style, chess psychology, and tournament prep.
These guys are the best bang for the buck.
This chess class definitely isn’t worth the price. Many of my friends paid lots for the chess lessons and afterschool programs for several years. But those kids hadn’t gotten any skills. So I think if you just want your kids to have funs and don’t mind the expensive tuition, this chess class may be a good option. Otherwise, you can find a better one with a reasonable price.
My son got online classes with coach Joey. He learned a lot. We are playing together and I see his improvement. Thank you guys for your job.
