I just took my driver’s exam today, and I wanted to write this review as a token of gratitude to Simon and Alex. I haven’t been driving with them for too long, but in the last four weeks or so, my lessons with Simon have made driving much more natural to me, to the point where it feels instinctual and intuitive. From the first lesson, they’ve always been really flexible with my times, and have helped me feel confident in driving around all the streets in my area, even Queens and Woodhaven Boulevard (we drove there once or twice, initially to my nervousness, but it turned out just fine). The anecdotes and tips that they give are great, and my experience learning under them reminds me of an important lesson that Simon taught me since day one: driving is meant to be enjoyed, and can be with patience and confidence. On that note, they’re super patient, personalized in their instruction, and it’s my pleasure to put in a good word for them as I would highly recommend them. In fact, as it turns out a lot of my friends and family friends in the area are also now learning under them. Thank you so much Simon and Alex, and I just found out I got my license on my first try! (Simon and Alex also know the test locations inside and out, and they gave great tips before I took my exam)

I highly highly recommend A & S Driving School for anyone who is looking to learn to drive, I couldn’t ask for a better and more supportive experience and environment to learn under! I had Simon as my instructor, and he is absolutely wonderful and amazing! He’s always very kind, calm, fun and easy to talk to, and gives fantastic tips to both prepare you fully for the driving exam, and to prepare you for all driving situations beyond so that you are fully ready for anything that comes your way! I was extremely nervous about driving when I began but through my lessons with him, Simon eased my nerves, increased my confidence and comfort with driving tremendously, and has taught me invaluable skills that I know I will continue to carry with me each time I drive! He is extremely knowledgeable, and made driving feel natural to me, emphasizing that it is something to be enjoyed and not to stress over! I cannot emphasize how helpful he was and how thankful I am to him; he is instrumental in my ability to now drive safely and confidently while enjoying it!
