My Nephew and nieces have been going here for 4 1/2 years. When there parents divorced it was a really hard time on the kids they adjusted to the school and made new friends and have called this school home for 4 1/2 years.
The new principal just kicked them out because the Dad was dropping them off late or absent. Mrs.clarck would of had a meeting with both parents and try!! to solve the problem not just get rid off the problem. The kids have no control over their parents actions. Maya is about to graduate from six grade and the principal still kicked her out and didn’t let her graduate from Loma Verde. Not only is it hard to be in sixth grade but to go to new school and make new friends is goin to make it harder. The kids have gone through alot and moving them is not a good idea. I think the principal is very inconsiderate and not taking the kids in consideration. This kids have never..ever..ever been in trouble or disrespected anyone. Their mom went to school district and they said it was up to principal. And obviously that didn’t help. SO JUST KEEP IN MIND THAT SHE DIDN’T TAKE THE KIDS FEELINGS INTO CONSIDERATION…. And by the way what happened this school year with all the fun activities we do every year when we had a involved principal. Rose.
I worked for the San Diego School district for 13years. And now I have my own DayCare and I’m very involved with my daycare families and try to help them out in how ever I can. Principal should be the same the parents shouldn’t have to go ask for help to district. Learn how to Communicate with your Families. So how sad that you are letting this happen??
There is from preschool to 6th grade including transitional kinder. I’ve been there from preschool to sixth (my current grade) and don’t listen to people who say staff is bad, they are good and they care about you. We used to have a soldier as a principal called ms.clark and she was mean BUT she kept the school bully safe, but she got fired and there is a new principle called ms.velazques, she’s nice but if there is bullying in school she gets mad with the kid that is bullying so if you want to enter your son to a elementary school, this is the perfect school with the safe environment. IF YOU GET YOUR SON IN THE SCHOOL, WISH THEM GOOD LUCK BY ME 😀
I am a 6th grader and people here might be hard to deal with ,but then over time the school gets easy to be here.My first year at this school was when I was in 4th garde.
