WCUCOM is a wonderful osteopathic medical training institution! The professors are committed to making the educational experience thorough and obtainable. Each professor has an open door policy encouraging students to excel in their training, always trying to help each student overcome obstacles to their education. The students attending WCUCOM do well with board exams and the residency matching program through a systematic approach to training that has been effective for student education retention. Students are well trained for patient encounters by early exposure to simulated patient cases, learning humanistic and documentation skills through the process. The WCUCOM mission statement emphasizes the development of primary care physicians in hopes of filling the need for these physicians in areas of underserved care. I encourage students interested in osteopathic medicine training to look into Williams Carey University, College of Osteopathic Medicine as a place of excellence in education!
