I hate and love how my picture from like 8th grade is the front picture for the school, and how its like the worst photo of me ever… thank you to whoever posted that.

I’ve been here since 6th grade, now 10th, and id say it was and still is pretty cool. everyone’s pretty much accepting (at least in my class) and I feel like I can be myself and people would think its cool, which is pretty rare in most public high schools. there were a couple of times when I really felt like leaving, maybe because I felt like the education wouldn’t get me into college (it can, I was just paranoid) , and maybe because there isn’t any lockers, it all felt unstable. But I ended up staying, because I didn’t want to leave the accepting and cool people who were there. It doesn’t matter to me that I wont get the “real high school experience”, its alright to me that things here don’t feel steady and official, because that’s how life is going to be anyways. this is just kind of like a demo, but you also have a lot of fun and make memories along with this practice, until you have to step into the real world.

Not perfect like yourself, but it’s a school where you can express/explode yourself. Being the first year student of a new school is a thrill. This is my first time ever having close friends, teachers, and admins. Most of the students are here because they want to and expan their art. How we learn are on laptops. Our learning system adjust itself to your level. This school like chruch. Everyone knows each other. Now that can be a good thing or bad. I promise you, you will feel like you knew these people your whole life within your first week. Yes there is drama here, all types. You will fall but you come back. Even if it’s not all you. We have student coming from the whole bay area and beyond. I have hope in this school. Check us out, and connect.
I absolutely hate spa because I’ve gotten chased with a pair of scissors by a kid and plus the work is hard when it’s on three different platforms like PLP Google classroom and edgenuity , I also got problems with at least three people or more. Lastly they don’t even try their hardest to help the students that actually need help and Ms melissa doesn’t have good hospitality to any students or staff at Spa. And also the teachers don’t give instructions that well and there is no security because the security guard quit the school and the same for the teachers. Plus there’s a lot of drug dealing and teen pregnancies and skipping classes. So if you really want to go to that school then I would not recommend this school for you.
