1. Recommended this place to my two relatives. Both are happy, they passed driving tests. Two my daughters passed tests too.
2. Staff is very polite and friendly.
Parking lots shared with other businesses, but I did not have any problem. Work time is good to me. Even Saturday included.
3. At the time of this review, they offer driving knowledge test, driving test, traffic safety education required by state, fingerprints and more.
4. Prices are more affordable then in other schools here in Watcom county.
5. I give 4 stars because of my picky nature. For comparison, Immigration and Hospital get 1 star from me, Social security and DSHS- 2 stars, Bellingham DOL – 3 stars. Nobody got 5 stars from me so far. 🙂
6. I witnessed one time when customer was complaining after failing driver test thinking that nobody understand what they are saying due to a different language. I speak both languages. Customer failed due to lack of basic safety skills: not checking blind spots, keep moving without stop on the stop sign, not using turn lights ans some more. I heard explanation. Customer decided to express rude unhappiness instead if accepting reality – not ready yet, practice more and learn from mistakes. Pass and drive safe. No, they said “I told you. Go to **** school all our people pass there.” Why I put this here? Just to let you know – someone could be angry on Bal Driving School and write bad review just because of their fault and bad mood. Thank You for reading up to this point.

I had came from Vancouver to get my US license. I had done my written test at the DMV and had passed. They had said it would be about a month before I can do my skills test due to it being fully booked. I called Bal Driving School and they said they could get me in the same day for the skills test! I had met with Sanjam and he was absolutely amazing. He was super helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, made me feel very welcome. I passed my skills test with flying colours and I was able to get EVERYTHING done the same day rather than going back and forth from Vancouver to Bellingham to the DMV to do my skills test, get my license situated, etc… Bal Driving School was super helpful and would 110% recommend them for anyone trying to get their license in Bellingham.

I took my written test here and they told me I got 6 wrong out of my 40 question test that was about a couple months ago and I have learned that you’re allowed to get 8 questions wrong so I called them about that he said “let me look at your file” I gave him my ID number he found me and he said “you got 10 wrong” that was from my second attempt there and I asked about my first attempt and he said “oh…” then you could hear him clicking on his keyboard and then say “you got nine wrong sorry goodbye” complete and utter scam when I was there in person they kept trying to sell me a bunch of learner’s packages and the price kept changing when we asked them about them don’t go here that is the best advice I can give you
