My two children attended this school from the beginning 2019 to end of Term 3 in 2022 and I can say that Mayfield is an absolutely wonderful primary school. – Amazing teachers who give so much energy and devotion to the students – I have to mention Ms Graham, Mrs Plover and Mrs Foreman – dedicated to helping children reach their full potential every single day.
– The kindest and most caring Teacher Aides I’ve met.
– The Principal Mr. Male – I’ll admit that at first I didn’t like him, but he has proven that he genuinely cares about the school, the staff and the students. He’s been very successful in his role, navigating through unprecedented Covid times, he’s done so much positive change, and – how often can you see a Principal at the Drop and Go Zone?? Quite often in Mayfield State School! So down to earth!!!

We left the school only because we moved houses and it became far for us to drive there and back every day. Very hard decision as my kids loved it and felt so sad. We would dearly miss Mayfield and the happy days in it. There’s a lot that other schools should learn from the way Mayfield is managed. Wonderful mixture of fun&learn where children’s best interests and wellbeing are a priority not just on paper, but in practice as well.

Best school in the whole world! Tucked away from the traffic and away from the crowds there’s a school yard full of busy happy sounds
It’s in the North Carina district of Brisbane but for us has been a dream, the most magical place a kid could go, full of happiness and joy and wonderful teachers
and the best principal. My Emma will keep you in her heart her whole life
Awesome school my children are very happy here.
Great teachers, nice pool, has before and after school care, healthy tuckshop, good size class rooms, computers, lots of fun events for the children and their families plus so much more! If your looking for a small lovely school community that has your child’s best interests at heart then mayfield is your school to go to
