I had a very bad experience with my son at this school right at FIRST GRADE. It seems like teachers at that grade level are not capable of doing their job as teachers. Long story short! My son got hit either by himself, accident or whatever happened. All I know that he got home with his knee swollen big time. He said he cried alot, but nobody saw anything nor I didnt get a call from nobody from school. He missed more than a week from school after I had to take him to the hospital internated for more than a week. The principal didnt show to me the required importance of the situation cause she was interested in having my son back to classes. Really? Please SAFETY FIRST
Well not only that, After almost 4weeks my son was able to walk propperly thanks god but later with time I was getting a bad behavior notice from his teacher or assistance ( three times a week) My son did this, my son did that. I wrote the teacher back to find out about the situation bcause i even told her that my son DO NOT behave at home the way she was writing him up every week….guess what. I didn’t get a response back after a month. .and for those who may think that my son may be
a Child with behavior issues,..pic attached!
Charter Schools over district public schools are much better organize. Recommended.
Ok, where to begin…. Bellamy is by far the worst school my child has ever attended. The administrative personnel are real prejudice and judgemental. As soon as I walked through the door to register my child being that we had just moved to the area due to invountary displacement and the staff asked me (Well told me) I had to give up my rights to my kids in order for them to attend. WHAT????? I was well taken back by the thought. Parents beware. And please do not stay quiet for such treatment.

Now, her teacher once in, was full of complaints. I mean kids will be kids and if she colored to much or read a book outside of circle time a number indicator was sent home. OMG really.? I have since taken my child out.

My daughter has been a student at Bellamy since Kindergarten and is now in the 5th grade and now our son attends and is in the 1st grade. We can praise this school enough. The administration is so involved and the teachers are just amazing and you can tell that they truly care about these children. I always tell people where my children attend school and if they are looking for a school they should tour Bellamy and speak to the teachers and parents.
