Their lunch room policies are a joke. The only problems my kid ever had were all in the lunch room. Which, from what we have been told by the school, is where NO teachers, assistant principal or principal are when the kids are in there eating. My kid came home last week one day and a few hours later got so sick I had to take him to the hospital. Come to find out that the same day another kid had put his hands on my child’s food and actually took some of his chicken. When we call the school to tell them about this and that it might be why our kid got sick the very first thing said to us is “well it could be that but you know the kids do have viruses going around”.. AND WHAT BETTER WAY TO SPREAD A VIRUS THAN PUTTING YOUR HANDS IN SOMEONES FOOD?!?!?! They basically made us feel like it was ok that another child put his hands in our kids food. If I had the money to move to another school district, I would in a heartbeat.
This school is great, i love the teachers… there soooo nice! and ive been there since kindergarden, so im like a citizen! i also love the food there, its better than what i could make at home! i also joined music makers, since i have quite a respect for music, and the pricipal was soo nice…. she greeted me everytime i got of the bus! tho i have to say that we need better bus drivers, i was half “deaf” and needed hearing aids but the bus always was too loud. and the bus needs to be on time so we can get to school on time! i also had a speech teacher, allbriton! she too is nice.
This school is great even the food and love that school so much and other kids love it to like when they are going to leave the school they cry and the lunchroom DOES have adult supervision and the principals will come if their is any problem so do not belive the negativity about this school belive me.
