I’m a Senior at Washburn and I got to tell ya that it’s going great, the teachers I have are great, and it’s a place where you can be comfortable. But don’t eat the food, the food is ok sometimes but mostly it’s gross. So I just go out to lunch with my friends. But Washburn is a great school to go to.
They keep us underground, but 45% percent of students from here go to Yale. Half of our teachers have been arrested at one time. All of our cafeteria food is wrapped in plastic but it’s still good. They only require you go half the time so that is definitely a plus.
2 sons went to Southwest. 1 son went Washburn. I believe the academic and sports programs are better are Washburn. Southwest was just adequate but they all did well in college.
