I give them a 3 solely because my daughter has received quality education. I believe most of the teachers are truly sincere and have a passion to teach. They value what they’re doing and want your children to be successful. If your child/children are POC or multicultural , a ” minority ” in the eyes of their leadership IE the assistant principle and principle and ANYTHING happens your child will get different punishment and of course be classified as the ” aggressor” My child was kicked in the ear by another child and did nothing to retaliate . And was told she usually is the one picking at them. BTW something I never was notified of . Just know they don’t really care about POC children. So all in all quality education , good kids good area BAD higher up. Id give them 1 star
I went to this school from 1965 -1972 I remember a lot of good friends,Great Teachers and Janitors, and alot of after school activities from athletics to scouting to plays and musicals in the theater. 6th grade my family moved to Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin where I still live. But the education and the field trips to the Museum’s, Guthrie Theater, Walker Art Center, and other places. Was fascinating and things that a lot of people do not get . I feel blessed
Not cool. I think this place doesn’t want anybody who isn’t rich. It’s like when teachers heard we were renters they were all attitude, saying weird stuff to my sons. My sons were not happy, they were hassled alot and nobody seemed to care. My boys are polite and good. So, there are other good schools in Minneapolis that will treat you right and want to help. Don’t go here if you’re not rich and possibly white too.
