Leadership this year is doing a terrible job. I’m sorry, but it’s the truth.
The vast majority of them are Caucasian females. The rest of them try to act like Caucasian females. There are a few legitimate members working to improve the school, but they are dwarfed by the complete and utter lack of racial and gender diversity.
This wouldn’t be a problem if they were running the school well, but their flaws are painfully apparent in the assemblies and socials they plan, which are overflowing with awkwardness and cringe, and one cannot help but to wonder why.
We all know that leadership craves “creativity” and “originality” and wants to stray from the way things have always been done before, but most of their ideas and “innovations” are strikingly repulsive and reflect the horrifyingly low level of intellect and common sense of the ones that came up with them. Ironically, they lack the very creativity and originality that they strive for. They think that they’re bringing improvement to the school, but they’re really just, bad in a way that cannot be put into words. Luckily, numbers express this quality perfectly: 0/10.
Note that we are only 2.5 months into the school year, and already leadership is not performing well. They better step it up soon, or there’s going to be a mutiny in the student body, I promise you. Leadership must change their ways or be overthrown.
It is possible that next year’s leadership won’t be as terrible as this year’s, but there’s no way to tell quite yet, and thus, this review is only relevant temporarily.
I’m rating it two stars because overall it’s still a pretty good school.
Absolutely great teachers and amazing learning environment. If you want your kid to excel without to many distractions, may it be mental or peer pressure, this is the school to go to. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not for everyone because not every person likes teachers that push you to do your best. But it is certainly for ones who seek help, or a challenge.

The teachers there are also absolutely amazing. I had almost all of them and I would say they’re all spectacular. You form special friendships with the teachers and fellow students in the calm learning environment. There’s also a few groups you can be a part of to expand your boundaries or feel more comfortable around. The performing arts aspect of the school is by far the best in the district, they have 7 periods in total, so that leaves room for more performing art classes.

I tried thinking about some flaws with the school, but none really come to mind. Now that doesn’t mean you personally won’t find anything bad, but I just think it’s the best school in the district by far. (Shoutout to Ms. Bivins for being the best, most energetic, most caring teacher in the entire school, and possibly the world).

I love this school. I am in my 7th grade year right now and from being on the bus with the other middle school kids from komochin, Chinook, salish, and nisqually, we are more behaved and mature. (Edit: I am now going into my 10th grade year, and yes, I believe that we were a bit more mature, but I think that may be because of the type of kids the school attracts and the expectations for the students. I loved the choir program here. It made me realize that choir is my passion. If you are thinking about sending your 5th grader to this school (if they have an interest in the performing arts) instead of the one that they are assigned to be in because of the boundaries, do it. Do it, do it, do it. I promise your child will come out as a better person.)
