Some people may say that we get way to much work and that the classes are a lot of stress. But as I student here in Archimedean Middle Conservatory, in my opinion that dont give us that much work. There is stress but really the stress comes from the extra classes we take that no other middle in Miami or even Florida does. Greek language can be hard at first but if you just study and practice youll get really good at it, and I speak from experience. At first when I had to learn Greek,I would have panic attacks and get scared because I thought I was going to fail but I also didnt study so I didnt get that far. But then the second year I was there I started to practice and study and I got really good at Greek. Greek math isnt has hard as some may think. Its basically just math but more advanced from your American math class. Philosophy in 5th grade may not be that interesting but then when you get to middle school, you are going to love it. I never really liked philosophy til middle school, and now its my favorite class. Of course there is going to be stress and I know it may be overwhelming but youre going to make amazing friends here and its an amazing experience to learn at Archimedean. I love the teachers, most of them at least. Most teachers are very understanding but of course some are going to be strict but they mean well. All the teachers here care for their students more than anything, they treat them just like their babies. The teachers will literally sacrifice themselves for their students. I love the teachers, the people, and the privilege I get to learn at Archimedean.
The pre-K is a wonderful environment for kids. Great little school loved every bit of it. The castle
. Thats another story.. its a very intense program focusing on math, Greek, math, Greek and math.
Great for those who want to engulf their lives in this. For the individual who wants a well rounded education.. just run as far and fast as you can. No art class, no music class.. nothing of that sort. Art is considered play dough and an iPad outside with gym teacher. Pretty pathetic.
Teachers.. well I can count a handful that have been decent. A lot of the teachers either are just miserable or must hate what they do. All in all its been a rough experience . I regret whole heartedly putting my child in this school . Its been nothing but a nightmare
As a current junior at this school, I will say that it’s honestly a really, really good high school for students that are committed to getting a good high school education and also that want to go to a good college. The workload is intense and can seem extreme at times, but after getting used to it, it seems normal. Overall, this school is great, they offer diverse classes that one wouldn’t normally have the chance of taking in any other high school, and the school and its staff do a great job at preparing students for college. Would highly recommend.
