It has been the best decision for our family to move our son from public school to Atlantis. There we found the right, nurturing environment he needed to expand his multiple talents. He was victim of bullying at his former school for his learning differences and we only received discouragement on what to expect for his academic future. The teachers and administrators at Atlantis Academy Miami have focused on his talents more than on his difficulties and he has recovered his self-esteem and thrived. The online school experience during the pandemic was extraordinary and the staff at Atlantis put forth the maximum effort to provide for the online children the same level of attention they gave to those in-person.
Our son has improved incredibly on his academics, and we are confident he will in the future perform to the top of his abilities and beyond, becoming independent and successful.
At Atlantis they support the families and work as a team with us to bring out the best from each child. Our experience has been fantastic and we highly recommend the school.
All teachers have more than 20 years of experience on special education and love teaching, which makes a great difference from other special education programs at other schools.
The Administration guided us through the scholarship application process to get the McKay scholarship from the State of Florida for which our son qualified and worked with us to make the school affordable for our family.

To change our son from public school to Atlantis has been the best decision we have made. Our son had a terrible time at public school and couldn’t understand what was going on until we got to Atlantis and recieve the help and guidance that our son needed. After a rough beginning because changes are scarry and hard but we can affirmed changes are good, see our son happy and improving so much in every aspect, feeling comfortable and tell me almost every day Mami I like school with a smile on his face is Amazing and make us feel we made that right decision. Everyone at Atlantis is very helpful, patience. and they worked with us to get our son academically successful and make him feel safe at school, since his experience in public school was not the best, also the students are GREAT, they help us on their on way and see how they interact with my son, worry about him and always trying to make him feel comfortable and included in the activities, melt my heart. If you need to make a change for your son, this is the right place to go ??.

When my son was diagnosed at 2.5 years of age with Autism, I knew right away that I would do whatever it took to help him achieve all he could. Moving my son to Atlantis Academy from a public setting has been the best thing ever for him and our family. Watching him thrive and grow under the patient tutelage if everyone there has been a most rewarding time!!! The staff are like family. They treat the kids as if they were there own. Everyday is another opportunity for them to help our kids succeed and they do not take the responsibility lightly. Everyone is there to help the student and family grow together as one and to achieve the best of the child’s abilities. They focus on the child as an individual and not as a statistic. My son has been here for years and will be until he graduates. When you speak to anyone there the love for these kids is so obvious!!!! I would gladly tell anyone about this school and the wonderful individuals that make it a loving and nurturing educational facility.
