Taking banjo lessons from Christopher is an absolute pleasure. He is incredibly personable and his breadth of experience means he is always ready to tackle any music style or genre my son wants to learn.

Christopher’s engaging manor keeps my middle schooler interested in even the less flashy foundational skills, such as mastering technique and theory. Christopher is well organized and we always leave with a clear understanding of what to review between lessons and what goals to be working toward.

As a parent, I appreciate the flexible studio policies for lesson time/location changes, as well as a very generous make-up policy for missed lessons. Winter Park Music Academy has a dedicated and professional staff that are responsive, helpful, and a joy to do business with.

I am absolutely blown away by our son’s piano teacher, Sophia. She is kind, patient, engaging, and clearly loves what she does. Her lessons cover not only the sheet music, but she weaves in stories about the history, composers, language, and her experiences as a musician to craft a robust and rich experience for my son. His skill, understanding, and confidence have grown exponentially with her guidance.

WPMA overall has been wonderful to work with and is very accommodating when our schedule changes. This is our third music school and we love it so much that we wouldn’t dream of ever looking for a fourth. Hands down, they’re the best. ??????????

Nestled in one of the most beautiful locations in Winter Park, there is this great music school, Winter Park Music Academy! From the first time that we reached out, everyone was super welcoming and accommodating to our busy schedule… all with a quick response! For each student, they choose an instructor with sense and consideration. The weekly homework is great and the kids have made big accomplishments, over the months that we’ve been attending the school. I recommend this Academy to anyone, who is interested in a fun and hands-on learning experience, as well as becoming a professional in the music field. Thumbs up from us!
