I’ve now been a teacher/mentor at Fusion Academy the Woodlands for three months. I can honestly say that this is the best place I have ever worked, hands down. I worked for public schools for eleven years before finding Fusion, and before I came here, I had little hope that I could continue as an educator. I felt jaded by the strings attached to every task, big or small. I felt disconnected from my students just by the sheer volume; there is no practical way to reach each student in a meaningful way when every spare hour is scheduled for professional development, small learning communities, etc. At Fusion, this is not the case. Not only is the 1:1 ratio the teacher’s dream, Fusion also allows multiple opportunities to commune with the students, so that as a teacher, you are afforded the opportunity to know each student as whole person, with planned events in the Homework Café and the chance in each individual session to truly check up on a student’s well-being. Fusion emphasizes social and emotional growth, to the point that each student has his/her/their own goals uniquely tailored to future plans. At Fusion Academy the Woodlands in particular, the leadership team works to actively support you. I have been approached in a non-judgmental, truly caring way more times in my three months here than in the entirety of my eleven years a public school. The goal is to become better, so you are never “flagged” for making a mistake; you are actually asked for your input on making the campus a better community. The teachers are amazing. It is the kind of educational community I dreamed of when I first became a teacher, and to have found Fusion, I feel like I am living the dream. I wake up each day excited to get to campus, as opposed to having nightmares of “messing up” in public school. And this method works! I’ve had reluctant learners who now come into class excited to start class! As a teacher and as a parent, I cannot recommend Fusion Academy the Woodlands enough. This is a place where everyone can grow without fear.

I can’t say enough of how amazing the Fusion academy school concept is for kids. Our son who is not a kid anymore although he started attending Fusion Academy at the 8th grade and just now graduating high school with excellent results and an offer in A&M Engineering. The environment is top notch, from the director to the school welcoming reception everyone is perfect. All our questions, complaints were immediately listened and provided with well aligned solutions which is really rare even at the best private schools here in the Woodlands. Our son was always respected as an individual personality and his learning needs were met at every time. Fusion Academy and all personnel have been a real partner to our family during his school years, it was a God sent schooling solution brought to us while we were struggling with the quirky private schools at the Woodlands and their questionable environment and teaching methods…we had experienced another private school in the Woodlands this is actually where we left from, I don’t want to name the school, but we did have very bad experiences in a couple of private schools here in the Woodlands with learning quality and environment wise. Even during COVID the 1-1 education was wonderful at Fusion as there was continuous on site education so we didn’t really miss anything.
Both prior and current directors and all educators were highly skilled professionally, with great communication and human skills. What is great was that we could always choose from a wide range of educators that my son clicked and learned better and faster and the type and number of courses and hours that worked for him and his sports activities and championships.

Fusion Acadamy (The Woodlands) didn’t just bring academic help back to my children but they brought hope back into them! My children (10.5 & 14) went from dreading to get out of bed and do school, to begging me to take them to Fusion! The environment is inclusive, the energy is contagious, and the learning potential is limitless! My only regret is I didn’t find Fusion Acadamy sooner!!!
