I’m a decently advanced tennis player, having played on A level ALTA teams and up to 4.5 in USTA leagues & tournaments. My wife took lessons from John first, and after watching him transform her from a complete beginner to someone that can consistently hold rallies with me, I decided to ask him to help me a bit with my serve, which had been a real problem recently. John watched me hit maybe 4-5 serves, and immediately diagnosed the problem. I’ve never seen such quick diagnosis, and my serve was immediately more reliable and felt more natural again. He also just happens to be a nice and sociable guy, so that helps too. 🙂
I look forward to my private tennis lessons with John every single time! John is so patient, helpful, and very thoughtful about the way he goes about explain each new step in the journey.
I had *literally* no tennis experience before this, but with his teaching I am never worried about attempting something new! He’s encouraging and patient (I really can say enough about how patient he is!!), and wonderful about communicating upcoming schedules. It’s just a bonus that he is so fun to chat during our hour session, too! Can’t wait for my next lesson! ??
I’ve been taking lessons with John for 3 seasons now. I started as a complete beginner. John has always been extremely patient and able to find different ways to teach techniques and skills. I always enjoy our lessons. My husband is much more experienced with tennis and was impressed with how quickly I was able to improve- he even started joining lessons to get some pointers.
