It warms my heart whenever I see the advertisements on the television or the catchphrase “raising young boys to the status of fine young men”. It makes the memories of my younger days flood back, my brothers standing as proud as can be as our mother fixed their blazers and polished their many badges before school started, and me feeling just a twinge of jealousy that I hadn’t been born male, and therefore couldn’t attend this wonderful college! My brothers participated in every aspect of college life, trying out for rowing, fundraising activities, and every leadership position that could be made, ultimately, they were mostly rejected from these, but what matters is their spirit and good attitude that this college cultivated and nourished. I’m sure this college will provide an amazing, quality, well-rounded, inspiring, education to the next generations, just as it did for my brothers, one who has just completed their second PhD at melbourne uni, and another which has immigrated to the states, and is now one of the leading neurosurgeons on the case to find the cure for brain cancer.
my mate, peter skrzynecki, seriously did not enjoy this school. told me all about feeling like a ‘foreigner’ seriously guys!!!

he also told me he wasn’t proud of ‘wearing the blue, black and gold’ seriously!!

peter was changed by this, until he went ‘somewhere out in the country’ far away from this school.

I made it out alive. I have constant PTSD from the toilets and the students.
I went to this school and everyone was cool from classmates to teachers
Most ( if not all) of my contemporaries in the late 50’s and early 60′ were guided by devoted religious brothers who inspired the St Pat’s spirit that we retain and cherish in our lives today
