I found the owner of Soar Academy, years back to help my middle schooler pass his grade. Remarkably, she was able to get him back on track and pass his grade in 2-3 months left of the school year!
Fast forward to this school year, I put my two younger kids in her school to see them SOAR! My son has challenges, but this school specializes in all types of learning disabilities. They learn abundantly and love the techniques in which they learn. This is not your every day traditional school. These kids get hands on experiences to teach them life skills, not just book knowledge. I LOVE THAT!!! I a billion percent recommend Soar Academy and Tutoring School to every parent that want more for their children and want them to build character, values, self confidence, life long skills and soooo much more!
After searching within a 20 mile radius for a school where my children could fit in, I discovered Soar Academy. They offer many options that cater to the individual need of the child ranging from anxiety to autism and beyond. I’ve never encountered such genuine staff before. They take the time to listen to parents and students; they’ve made it a day-time “home away from home” for students. It’s the most unique experience. Whether your child could use additional academic help, struggles with the public school system, or is a genius; Soar is the perfect option. Diversity and inclusion are also it’s strength as well. Thank you Soar Academy for a wonderful school year so far for my first year Soar students!
SOAR Academy has been a godsend for my son. The staff and students created something that no other public school has been able to do for him. They created a community of friendship, nutured his love for art, and created a love for learning. We are so thankful for staff and the community of incredible students. My son has many friends now and he loves school. On top of it all, he is improving every semester and building his confidence more than we ever imagined. As a parent, I feel heard and respected. It feels like we are a team instead of the usual parent vs IEP team with the constant battle for services and accommodations. And student safety is always prioritized. I can’t recommend SOAR enough.
