My son has been going to Ladera since he was in TK and is now in 4th Grade. He is on the Autism Spectrum and I picked Ladera when we moved to Thousand Oaks specifically because I had done some research and seen an article somewhere about the success their Special Education department had in helping special needs students intergrate into a general eduction classroom and set the blueprint for them being successful in middle school, high school and college. I am so glad I picked Ladera because my Son who started out in Special Education classes, on an IEP and was barely verbal at the time is now, with the help of the amazing teachers and staff at Ladera, been in a regular General Education class since 3rd grade with all A’s and B’s and is fully verbal now and even reading at a 5th/6th grade level. He is fully intergrated with no assistance and I have bo doubt gad we not moved and stayed in our old school district he wouldn’t be where he is. This school is amazing and like a big family!
I’m so happy my son enjoy this school. I think is really playful, fun, lots of friend.
I do have feeling because we are moving back to Europe it’s going to be very different to connect with proper English and also all Europe right cruncs
But that American schooling .
For me was very playful, respectful and
Hated my 4th grade and 3rd grade teachers and principal, I’m in high school now and it’s much better.
