This place is quite frankly hell on earth. Some teachers are nice but most are here to collect their payroll, not help students learn. And god forbid you absent because the teachers don’t give a damn. They are willing to ruin your learning career as long as they get their catered lunches and social hour. Half teachers sit on their phone instead of actually helping. Don’t dare read the parent reviews because their not the ones going to this place of damnation for 3 years. However there is one plus side, if you like detentions than great! The teachers give out detentions like homework.ADULTS LISTEN NOW. If you plan to enroll your child here DON’T. Because i’m pretty sure you want your children to have a good experience her. Sadly this is ll the time I have. Back to what seems like eternal torment!
It was okay… I was a new student starting from 6 grade; in the beginning, I was totally alone and isolated for like half the year. Some people there are nice, like some other sixth graders- I remember two of them- they invited me to sit with them during lunch. It was really a kind gesture. But after those six months I made a new friend who was also new to Redwood, and now we’re besties.
Basically if you’re the popular type, you will definitely fit in. If you’re not, well, pfft, good luck with that! (By the way I’m like, the shy type.)
Anyway, all in all, Redwood is not bad not good. Just like any other school.
8th Grade Graduation in 13 days, i’d say Redwood is a good school. Decent peers, positive teachers, and great activities. I especially like some teachers for their positive attitude and hard work, even after they are tenured, or ‘protected’ by the school. Some people claim the campus staff and some teachers give out detentions for silly reasons, so be careful what you do and say to staff. 6, 7, and 8th grade, I think Redwood is a good school to be at.
