Our son took multiple programming classes and math summer camps at Archimedes school. Not only that he has advanced his knowledge in these areas which helped him with high placement in math competitions but he also enjoyed tremendously. He even brought his excitement home where he did additional work and programming projects beyond what was required for the course. We believe the reason for his sparked interest is the way Archimedes schools program is put together. They explain traditional math and programming lesions in a different, fresh, and interesting way. They apply math/programming methods in resolving everyday life problems making math more approachable and tangible. Archimedes School continuously works on updating and improving their curriculum keeping it fresh and motivating even for returning students. The energy and passion Archimedes staff put into their work simply radiates and make students feel the same. We are going to continue our collaboration and gladly recommend their classes to everyone who may need to brash up or master their knowledge in math and programming.
My boy, who doesn’t like math, now reminds me to go to Archimedes school to work with his tutor. He has a mild ASD and his tutor is very patient and flexible in approach. I don’t have words to describe how happy I am with this school and their work.
The school is a small and friendly environment, which is very useful for kids to learn and make friends. All the instructors are good with children. Friendly in-class competition really pushes the kids to work and learn more.
