We sent our 3 year old daughter to this facility for back-up care. The staff called and left a message that my daughter had tripped and fell on her own and scratched her face. I called back and the lady who answered the phone just laughed about the situation with no apologies. My husband and I both went there immediately. My husband asked a few questions about how the incidence happened and asked to see the location of incidence. They said if we’re uncomfortable with them we don’t need to go there again. We explained we just want to understand how it happened, not placing blames. The entire time, again, no apologies received from any of the staff. The next day, we received notification through email that all our reservation at this facilitate, which were all previously confirmed, were cancelled by the facility, claiming there’s no more openings. We called bright horizons customer service and they said the cancellations were isolated to my family because they cancelled reservations of no one else. Ok, so we’re blacklisted through no fault of our own. And my daughter still has a few severe scratches and bruise on her cheek today. Their staff is unapologetic, careless, and arrogant. This is not a place for any parents who need proper care for their children.
So this is the Bay area. Why am I saying this:

#1. It’s expensive. Tuition is high as expected, so don’t be surprised. If you can accept your high rent, high housing price in the bay area, why not the day care? Are they not supposed to make as much as your landlords or mortgage banks?

#2. Teachers change. Well, I think nobody wants to leave but where do you expect the teachers to stay? On the Peninsula? How far are these 20 and 30 yr olds supposed to live to come to work everyday without breaking their bank. Overall, most teachers stay. Some dynamic changes expected. No big deal. Same thing for life.

#3. They try. Snacks, meals, activities etc, very comprehensive. Most things get addressed. Problems get solved pretty quickly. Jenny is business savvy and socially responsible. Teachers Brenda, Nancy, Huriya are amazing!

My son had spent one year here and leaving because we are relocating. But we never had any issues, and IMHO they are pretty good. Just wish less holidays so that parents could be more free but you know. Teachers gotta rest too.

Very bad experience with this Preschool.
We scheduled a school tour with this preschool one day morning. It was raining very bad that day and traffic was too horrible. We tried our best but driving from South bay to school in morning still took us over 1 hour and half, therefore we were 10mins late for the tour.
We waited in rain for 5 mins(They don’t allow us in reception room) and then an asian woman with short hair came out and told us you guys cannot in since tour started just now, they had security concern. I described the traffic problem we met and asked her what kind of security concern. If it is possible we can join the tour? The woman said nothing to tell. ‘No way, you can only tour next Month!’, rude and arrogant words.
I am actually happy that I cannot tour this school. Leaving kids stay with these loveless staff could be a nightmare. Write this to here as a tip for future parents
