First off I didn’t go my full 4 years at Clovis East but I moved a lot during the time my freshman and sophomore year i went to Buchanan and then Junior and Senior i went to Clovis East. It was okay but i felt like the teachers did not care whatsoever about the classes they had. When I was a senior, my Economics teacher wasn’t there half the time because he was the girls golf coach and the poor student teacher had to do the teaching. The student teacher was alright but all the students were really rude to her and I know she tried her best. And my US gov. teacher would be on his phone the whole time and played Clash of Clans and we didn’t learn anything at all. And he would be gone doing the sport events and we get a substitute for the last 2 months. Honestly this two classes are suppose to being really a big step into the Adult work lifestyle yet they failed to teach us students anything. And they are both sport Coaches, PLEASE DON’T HIRE TEACHERS WHO ARE COACHES THEY IGNORE THE CLASS THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO TEACH. It was the boring years of my high school life and I’m pretty happy I’m out but I’m sad that everyone said it was a great school but i got the short end of the stick.
pretty cool. played volleyball their cool gym… very fun. then played winter percussion which was fun to walk around campus
Great teachers, staff, and environment. Loved Clovis East it is an awesome school.
